St. Johnsbury Academy Board of Trustees Elect New Leadership

During the October 2021 meeting of the St. Johnsbury Academy Board of Trustees, Cathy Judd-Stein, St. Johnsbury Academy (SJA) Class of 1978, was elected to fill the role of Board President. She will succeed Jay Wright ’87 whose six-year term has come to an end.   

Seniors Participate in Rotary Youth Leadership Conference

Congratulations to (l-r) Ashley Fox, Hannah Angell, Maddie Hurlbert, and Silas Pearson for their participation in the Rotary Youth Leadership Conference (RYLA) this past June, held virtually over 3 days. These four students were selected by St. Johnsbury Rotary for this honor based on their experiences with leadership and interest in the program. RYLA brought together youth from VT, NH, and Quebec to share, evolve, and learn to be more effective and self-confident leaders in their schools, teams, communities, and everyday life

AROUND CAMPUS
If you are wondering what epithelial tissues are for, ask a student in Mr. Langmiad's Accelerated Anatomy and Physiology class. They should have the answers because that is part of their Histology unit this week.
The Morse Center is filled with students creating amazing works of art.
Mr. Stark's Introduction to Woodworking students are putting the finishing touches on their cherry and ash wood jewelry boxes.
