FAMILY UPDATE
Dear St. Johnsbury Academy Families,
 
I hope that many of you were able to be part of Spirit Week last week, even if from afar—it was something extraordinary. Seeing the students having genuine fun—cheering and working on floats and doing other projects together—and the community joining us along the parade route and at Fairbanks Field, was all-out joyful. I’m grateful to all who helped to make it possible.

Join us for our student-led, in-person campus tours on Friday afternoons this fall! Tours will be approximately one hour in length, and will give prospective students an insider view of our campus, facilities, and programs. Sign up here.

Thursday, October 28
Virtual Meet the Teachers, 4:00-9:00 p.m.

You may reserve a specific 15-minute block with each of your student's teachers for a private Zoom conference using the conference scheduler, which is now open and accessed at: http://www.ptcfast.com/schools/St_Johnsbury_Academy

The conference scheduler will close at 11:59 p.m. on October 27, 2021, to allow our faculty time to prepare. 

Friday, October 29

Headmaster's Holiday, No classes
AROUND CAMPUS
Students in Mrs. Angell’s Forensic Science class investigate a crime scene on Stowe Green. Each group set up a crime scene for their classmates to document. At each crime scene the students were required to secure, document, and collect evidence.
Mrs. Mackenzie's AP Lit students reenact the Battle of Hastings with their own creation of rhymed dialogue to help teach the class about a key moment in the history of English poetry.

Headmaster Dr. Sharon Howell celebrates with members of the fall sports teams at the ribbon cutting celebration of the new turf and lights at Fairbanks Field. The ceremony took place during halftime of the 116th football game between St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers and Lyndon Institute Vikings. The Hilltoppers won the game, 31-14.
