On this Memorial Day, we pray for those who courageously laid down their lives for the cause of freedom. May the examples of their sacrifice inspire in us the selfless love of Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Bless the families of our fallen troops, and fill their homes and their lives with Your strength and peace .

SJA 8th Grade Disney Trip
The happiest place on earth
One last snack before we left
Ms. Simone's 5th grade students chose a chapter of interest in their math books to design their own math board games. They were encouraged to use iPads to research game ideas. Students were scored on a rubric based on math concepts, creativity, clear game instructions and objectives, as well as presentation. After the presentations students were allowed to enjoy playing the created games with classmates. Mall Math, Godopoly, and Sum Math and Math Jeopardy are just a
few examples of games
enjoyed by all students.

Way to go 5th grade!
