Worship on July 19th
This Sunday morning we will share Communion together as the scattered church. Be sure to have your elements of bread and cup with you so that we can remember through this ancient practice that we are still One Body, though worshiping in many different places.
Worship will begin at 10:30 am via our YouTube channel and at our website under the Worship tab.

Goal of $15,000
Received to Date: $260
We never would have dreamed that we and our friends at the Nyarweng School in South Sudan would be sharing another connection. Just as we have had to do here, the school there had to suspend operation because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The students were sent home to their parents, and except for the older students, the 8
th graders, the school is temporarily closed. Teachers are continuing to be paid and will be ready to resume as soon as it is determined to be safe.
In spite of the current situation for the school the community has gradually taken on more responsibility for the operation, with the parents paying fees which provide 20% of the cost of the teachers. This investment by the community gives hope for the long range future of the school.
Please join in prayer for the students, the teachers, and the whole community that they will be able to stay safe and well and will, in the near future, be able to resume classes.
The St. John’s Mission Resource Team has agreed to designate the Nyarweng School in South Sudan as the recipient of our 2020 Global Mission Offering, with a goal of $15,000.
The offering will remain open through the end of August.
Please send your offering by mail to Jacquelyn McAbee at the church, or click the button below to give electronically.

Realm at St. John's
Giving is in your hands using your Realm Profile and Connect App.
In the winter of 2020 we transitioned to a new church management software called Realm. This is a tool that helps the staff and congregation to better connect, stay up to date, give online, and enhance our ministries. If you have not received an invitation by email to join Realm and access your profile, please contact
Derek at the church to ensure we have your correct address.
Did you know you can do more than just make contributions to St. John's from your profile? You can also manage your giving by viewing your giving history, changing your giving methods, tracking your pledged giving, and updating your pledge. Below are two short videos to help you use these features.
You can always access your personal Realm profile from any smart device via the
Realm Connect App or from a computer's internet browser.
Click here to visit our church website and click on the "Realm Log In" from the top menu bar to access your personal profile.

Wednesday July 29th, 5:30-8:30 pm
16040 McAuley Rd
Huntersville, NC 28078
Only 19 of 50 reservations are still available!
This outing will be mostly outdoors, however the barn does provide an indoor space should there be inclement weather or needed shelter from the heat. The space will allow us to be physically distant, the food truck allows for online ordering and individual/no contact pick up, and we plan to have plenty of locally sourced hand sanitizer available.
We are asking for people to BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage), BYOFC (Bring Your Own Face Covering) and BYOC (Bring Your Own Chair). We plan to be cognizant of physically-distancing and wearing face coverings when appropriate.
