New Student Applications Open for

the 2024-25 School Year

The application for new students to St. Joseph Catholic School for the 2024-2025 school year for PreK 4 - 7th grade is now open on our SJCS website!

Do you have a sibling to enroll? Does a family member want to send their child to St. Joseph next year? Spread the word!

Current SJCS Parents: Re-enrollment for current SJCS students for the next school year will begin on February 1st and last through February 29th. More details to follow.

SAVE THE DATE - SJCS Open House - January 16th!

If you have friends or family members who are interested in private, Catholic education, we would love to invite them to come visit our school! Be sure to have them save the date for our school's next Open House!

PSIA Volunteers Needed

We are continuing our preparation for our PSIA event on the 24^th of February, and we are still in need of several parent volunteers.

We are now participating in 112 contests this year. We need one volunteer for every 2.25 entries. While the faculty is filling several of these spots and we have received a few responses, we still need a large contingent of parent volunteers. The positions that need to be filled are all grading positions. We will ensure that the spot you are given corresponds with the time of your child’s event to make the best use of your time.

Grandparents' Day at St. Joseph is Friday, February 2nd!

Event Details:

Our special day will begin at 8:00 am with Mass, followed by a light breakfast for all grandparents in the Dining Hall. Activities in our classrooms will take place after breakfast. February 2nd is a half day. Grandparents/parents can check their students out from school. Regular dismissal will occur at 11:30/11:45 am/12:00 pm.

Dancers of the Son at St. Joseph Catholic School

Dancers of the Son is a dance club focused on praising God through dance. The dancers will be able to learn different genres of dance including ballet, lyrical, and jazz. The dancers will have the opportunity to perform at a school event during the year. The dances will have a message focused on God so that dancers can learn how to praise God through the art form of dance.

Jazzy Jags Spring Cheer Clinic

The SJCS Spring Cheer Clinic is an after school club for girls currently in 2nd-4th grades. This clinic is a great opportunity for girls who would like to continue improving cheer skills as well as provide an introduction for girls who are interested in joining the Jazzy Jags Fall Cheer Club in the Fall of 2024. The spring clinic will focus on technique and skill. The 10 session cheer clinic will run from late February through early May with performances in April and May.

Practices are scheduled for Wednesdays from 3:30 PM until 4:30pm

Pick-up will be at the Main School Entrance Doors near the Church.

After completing the form, return it along with your check (made payable to St. Joseph Catholic School) to Miss Maguire

by Monday, February 26.

Jazzy Jags Spring Cheer

SJCS Moms Small Group

Calling all SJCS Moms looking to dive deeper into their faith! The SJCS Moms Small Group is starting back up again this spring and we would love to have you join us! In January we are going to discuss podcasts and begin studying the Sorrowful Mysteries during Lent.

Join us Fridays 1:45-3:00 PM in the Upper Room (kids welcome to hang out).
