This year marks 75 years of San Joaquin Memorial excellence. There will be many ways to join us in celebrating our anniversary, including a virtual, online community Mass, our annual silent and live auction and sharing memories on social media using the hashtag #SJM75th. In this month's newsletter, we celebrate 75 years and our alumni.
San Joaquin Memorial High School Celebrates 75 Years

Classes started at San Joaquin Memorial High School in the fall of 1945, just as construction was completed on the first three buildings. Construction of the fourth and fifth buildings was completed a short time later, with classes opening the following year. Now, 75 years later, we face challenges but also victories. Our students continue to excel during an unprecedented historical moment and the school continues to grow.

As part of our year-long anniversary celebration, we will be hosting an online, community Mass on October 1 at 10:30 a.m. The Mass will be livestreamed online. Check out sjmhs.org for more information as the event approaches.

SJM will also celebrate with our annual auction event, which will be held on November 7, 2020. The auction will be a virtual event for the first time in school history and will feature a live and silent auction, activities and options for interactivity. The event will be livestreamed online. Items and monetary donations are needed. For more information, contact Shirley Boujikian at [email protected] or 559-475-5831.

To launch our 75th celebration, we have produced a video celebrating our past 75 years, which you can view above.
