Welcome to the Saint John Neumann Confirmation Preparation Program!
Thank you for accompanying one of our teens at St. John Neumann Church through their Confirmation Preparation Program as they prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation. We hope that you and your families are doing well during this very challenging time. We are here to support you through this journey of being a sponsor, so please let us know if you have any questions. Here are the latest updates and information regarding being a sponsor. You can also find information about the process the teens are moving through on the Confirmation website.

We will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers and hope that you will do the same for us.

An Important Note about our Current Public Health Concerns:
Our goal is to make sure that the Confirmation prep program is safe for everyone involved. The information below (and on the website) reflects our current plan of action. Please be aware that things may change and we will let you know when/if changes are made. Thank you for your patience and kindness during this difficult time.
Upcoming Events and Information
Sponsor Modules - The teens are completing online modules as part of their Confirmation Prep experience. We ask that sponsors also complete the sponsor version of these modules to better accompany their teen. We recommend that you talk with your teen about the modules so that you can complete the same ones around the same time to have better conversations between you. Teens must complete all ten modules by August 15. Please get started as a sponsor if you have not already done so!

Sponsor Certificate of Eligibility - The deadline for handing in Sponsor Certificates was August 1. If you have not yet handed in a certificate, please contact your parish's main office immediately. If you are a registered member of St. John Neumann, you do NOT need to obtain a certificate.

Looking Ahead
Bishop Study Questions have been provided to the teens through emails and on the website. You access them at them HERE. Teens are expected to review and have a basic understanding of the information presented through the questions. Please review with your teen.
Rehearsal for the Sacrament of Confirmation is on the evening of November 5. Please talk to your teen about their assigned time. Sponsors are expected to attend with their teen if possible. If not, a parent of the teen may fill in for the sponsor.
The Sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated on November 7. Please talk to your teen about their assigned Mass time.
