Message From the Principal

Dear St. Jerome Regional School Family,

As the school year draws to a close, SJRS is filled with excitement, with many events planned for our students. Amid this busy time, it's important to remind everyone of the continued need for academic focus. Parents and guardians are essential in helping students stay motivated, work hard, and complete their assignments. We believe academic success is a shared effort, and we truly appreciate the crucial role you play as a member of your child's educational team.

This month, we come together in prayer, asking for Mary's intercession, as each of our classes will pray the rosary throughout this month. Our prayers are focused on our families, especially our mothers and grandmothers. We’ve sent home a form for you to share the names of any mothers, grandmothers, aunts, or godmothers you’d like included in our prayers. These names will be read aloud daily in every classroom throughout the month. May we continue to grow closer to Jesus through His mother, Mary.

We are also excited to inform you that this summer, we will be undertaking an important project to improve the condition of the roads and parking lot areas at Saint Jerome Regional School. Over the past few years, the need for this repair has been discussed in both our Board of Pastor and Advisory Board meetings, and after careful consideration and planning, we are moving forward with plans to repave these areas. The project will be scheduled during the summer months while school is not in session to minimize disruption. Please note that this will affect summer hours and when the office will be able to have visitors. We will post updates as necessary.

We are pleased to share that we have been granted permission by Bishop Schlert and have been working closely with the Director of Properties, Facilities, and Real Estate at the Diocese of Allentown to ensure the project moves forward smoothly. This is a significant and costly undertaking, and we are seeking donations to help cover the expenses. Your support in this effort would be greatly appreciated. We will keep you updated as the project progresses and as we continue to plan for its completion.

Thank you for your understanding and support as we work to improve the safety and accessibility of our school grounds. If you have any questions or would like to contribute, please don't hesitate to reach out.

God bless you and your families,

Mrs. Amy M. Hannis-Miskar, Principal

This is a major fundraiser for SJRS and we are asking every family to participate and share the link for the event to be successful. This helps to keep the cost of tuition down. Many people do not mind sending a donation to the school. It is a wonderful way to ask people outside the area to support the school. For your convenience, here is the RACE FOR EDUCATION link that you can share with friends and family who want to donate online.

Certificates are sold from the school office daily during school hours and scrip orders are taken on Tuesdays. Our last scrip order will be May 27th. There will be no scrip orders or gift card sales during the summer break.
