Dear Families,
October is here and the weather is getting cooler. October is dedicated to saying the rosary. I love to do this outside in the fresh air when I have a chance. Try and find a quiet moment for your family to enjoy some outdoor prayer time. We will do a whole school rosary led by our NJHS at the end of the month.
Starting tomorrow we are in full Boosterthon/Color Run mode. For our new families this is one of our largest fundraisers of the year. This year we are focused on finishing some student furniture projects, safety backpacks for each classroom and some other furniture needs if funds allow. Please register on the Booster website. The link is easy to send to friends and family to have them donate. Booster keeps track and has a map of where we have donations from even other countries, which is cool for the kids to see. We have some great incentives this year. Including every family registered gets a free day pass to Great Wolf Lodge.
See the Boosterthon Spirit Week dress out days below. PTO is still looking for volunteers( must be compliant through the office of safe environment formally child protection) to help at the inflatable teacher costume race next Wednesday the 14th and for the Color Run next Friday the 16th. This day is so joyous, please join us.
Incentives:
- Anyone who registers will get a free Great Wolf Lodge day pass when/ if we reach our monetary goal
- When a student receives their first donation, they receive wolf ears
- The top earning students (10) will earn a week long dress out pass (except Mass day).
- The top student will earn Lunch with Mrs. Stich and Mr. Drechsel
- The top 2 classes will earn lunch with the Friars
- The 3rd place class earns popsicles from the PTO
- Any student who has registered and has a donation by kick off day (10/7) will be entered in a raffle to help TP Mrs. Stich (one winner per/grade)- this incentive is for reaching $8,000 by kick off day (10/7). This Incentive will take place after the Costume Race on 10/14
- Any student who is registered and has a donation will be entered in a raffle to dunk Mr.Drechsel, Fr. Kevin, or Fr. Dominic (one winer/grade)- this incentive is for reaching our big monetary goal of $45,000. This will take place on Race Day- 10/16
The Booster team is extremely energetic and dynamic and gets the students excited. This is a wonderful community event. See everyone tomorrow in their Neon. Let's GO Saints!!!
Make me an instrument of your peace.
St. Joseph, pray for us.
Peace,
Mrs. Stich
