SJS Newsletter - September 5th, 2024

Accreditation is a process that the Milwaukee Archdiocese requires each school to go through every seven years. St. Joseph School will be participating in this requirement during the 2025-26 school year. This year, our staff is preparing for the accreditation. It is advantageous for our overall school community in that it requires us, as a staff, to review most aspects of how our school operates. Working in collaboration with the parish we are currently looking at our school procedures. As we solidify the current procedures or make any changes, we will communicate that with school families.

We have implemented a check in procedure for visitors in the building that includes stopping in the office, signing in and receiving a visitors badge. We thank you for the cooperation as we enhance our safety procedures for our school community.

Spanish Club Registration Forms Next week!

Mrs. Greco (formerly Miss Webber) will be offering a Guitar and Ukulele Club from

3:05-4:00pm on Wednesdays

in the music room.

We will start on Wednesday, September 11th and meet weekly through December. During the meeting time, students will receive both group and individual instruction on their instrument. Space is limited to 12 students in 2nd-8th grades.

The cost for Guitar and Ukulele Club is $50. If you are not able to cover the cost but are interested in joining, please let Mrs. Greco know.

Students interested in learning the guitar need to provide their own instrument. Students who would like to play ukulele can use a school instrument during the club meeting time, but they would need their own ukulele if they would like to practice at home.

If your student would like to join Guitar and Ukulele Club or if you have questions, please email Mrs. Greco at grecoc@stjosephschooltosa.com by Friday, September 6th.
