A big thank you to our Prairie's Got the Goods Week Sponsors:

The 10th Native Prairie Restoration/ Reclamation Workshop occurred in Saskatoon, February 7th-8th, 2024.

The theme was "Building Bridges to Tomorrow: Restoration and Reclamation For the Future"

Over 250 individuals participated in the 10th Native Prairie Restoration/Reclamation Workshop! We had 37 presentations, 6 case studies, 14 posters, and 14 tradeshow booths. The positive feedback from our attendees has been overwhelming! We work hard to put on NPRRW and it's rewarding to know that participants are learning and enjoying the event. We're starting to plan the 2025 event in Regina, we'll look over the evaluations carefully to find ways to improve the participants' experience. If you have any suggestions on speakers or topics, feel free to send them to pcap.nprrw@gmail.com. The Call for Abstracts will open in the fall, but feel free to start thinking about presentation ideas!

The 2024 Native Prairie Restoration/Reclamation Grant was awarded to Vickie Derksen from the RM of Caron. Vickie plans to restore 2 acres of land from a U-Pick operation back to native grasses and flowering plants, in an effort to restore the health and function of the soil and enhance habitat for native insects.

During the Banquet at NPRRW, we were able to show a video prepared by the winners of the 2022 Native Prairie Restoration/Reclamation Grant, Restoring 71 Project. Aaron and Katie Suek of Restoring 71 Project did an amazing job, you can find the video on their YouTube Channel.

A big thank you to our trade show participants, speakers and everyone who participated in the workshop. We appreciate your support and contributions! A special thank you to our sponsors:
