Fair Labor Standards Act Updates
Fair Labor Standards Act and your Exempt Employees

On July 1, 2015, the Department of Labor released proposed changes to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) - specifically regarding the "white collar" exemption from minimum wage and overtime pay. The public had until September 4, 2015 to comment on these proposed changes. While there is no guarantee the FLSA changes will take effect exactly as proposed, it is likely the changes to "White Collar" exempt status and overtime will change significantly.  Support Kansas City already implemented a system to track hours for employees affected by these proposed changes.  We recommend you learn as much as you can about the proposed FLSA changes and be ready to move when the dates are set.

Salesforce Updates
What's New With Salesforce!

Three times a year, spring, summer and winter, Salesforce releases a new batch of innovative features for new and existing Salesforce systems. Many of these features become automatically accessible when the updates are launched, although you may not notice many of them in your day to day usage.  Most of the updates in the just-launched Spring '16 Release will not affect your system, but don't be alarmed if you do notice some small visual changes.

Nonprofit Salesforce Users Group - April 1!

Join us for our next Nonprofit Salesforce Users Group on Friday, April 1 from 8:00-9:30am at the Support KC offices. We'll be tackling reports, so bring your questions and we'll walk you through the basics of this powerful feature! This training is open to all nonprofit organizations.
