Registration Basics
Everything you need to know!

registration 101 -  Registration information is available on this chart. General registration for all Arts & Science students is available on their website.

swap and edit functions in SOLUS -  If you have want to switch courses or labs/tutorial times, use the SWAP function. to change courses and the EDIT function to move to a new lab/tutorial section in the same course. Avoid using the DROP function since you will lose your spot in the course (if the course you want to enroll in is full you won't have a back-up).

drop/failure -  If you have dropped or failed a course that is core to your program, note that you are responsible for registering yourself. If you need assistance because of SOLUS restrictions reach out to the SKHS UG office.

course summaries -  Not sure what courses to take? Read the course summary! Familiarize yourself with the courses offered each year.

know your plan -  The Degree Audit Form (KIN) (HLTH) will help you plan what courses you have taken and which ones you still require.

outstanding debts -  If you have a hold on your record, you will not be able to register in courses and we cannot pre-enrol you. Contact the Registrars office to take care of your debts.

important email reminders - it is Queen’s policy that all email communications are through your @queensu.ca email address for security reasons. Include your name as it appears on SOLUS, student number, year and program. In the SKHS, we work as a team. Send your email to only one person. We will ensure that you get an answer from the correct individual. Please do not tie up more than one team member’s time with the same email. For a list of staff and their duties click HERE.
4th Year Advanced Course Selection for HLTH Major & KIN
You will receive an email JUNE 24 with a survey link to fill out your course selection choices for your 400 level HLTH/KNPE Option courses only. We will pre-load you into the minimum number of KNPE/HLTH option courses you need to graduate.
