ASUS Peer Tutors ASUS Peer Tutoring (APT) is a new and improved service that partners upper-year students who have excelled in courses with students who need some help. At $15 per hour, APT is both the cheapest tutoring service in Kingston, and the highest paying undergraduate job on campus.
PASS Peer Academic Support Service (PASS) is a volunteer service that is run through the Faculty of Arts and Science to assist first-year students. The service is designed to ease student transition into university and to promote academic success.

Research Assistant - Volunteer Role
Dr. Pete Wegier, Research Chair in Optimizing Care Through Technology at Humber River Hospital is looking for a fall research intern to assist with research data collection, scheduling and conducting interviews and analyzing data.
The ideal candidate would be:
- An undergraduate or graduate student within a health science, psychology, public health (or similar) program,
- Passionate about research and data analysis particularly on improving the delivery of healthcare in Canada,
- Experience with any of the following would be an asset: literature reviews, recruitment of participants for studies, basic quantitative methods,
- Bilingual in French would be an asset.
This position will provide students with the chance to gain experience in various aspects of research and build their research, leadership, networking and organization skills.

About Us
The Sexual Assault Centre Kingston is a feminist, not-for-profit organization providing free, confidential, non-judgmental support for survivors of sexual violence in Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington. We provide support to survivors of all genders, ages 12 and up, who have experienced recent and/or historic sexual violence.
Crisis & Support Line
Our 24 hour, 7 days a week Crisis and Support Line provides confidential and non-judgmental support for survivors. We offer information, support and coping strategies for survivors of all gender identities. The Crisis and Support Phone Line covers: KFL&A, Quinte and Area, Cornwall and Area, and North Bay and Area. The number of crisis calls received continues to rise, demonstrating the ongoing need for after-hours support during evenings and weekends.

‘We Believe Survivors’ is our secure, online chat & text support service, available for all survivors of sexual violence, regardless of gender and/or identity.
We have volunteer training coming up, at the below listed dates. Training will take place online. Please ensure you've filled out the interest form and scheduled an interview prior to attending.

A National Kinesiology Case Competition

1st national virtual kinesiology event
Kin Case Competition!
The Kinesiology Case Competition is a national competition for students in the third and fourth years of Canadian university kinesiology, human kinetics and physical activity programs.
Up to 24 teams from provinces throughout the country participate in the week-long event. The competition offers participants great opportunities to meet new people and network with practising Kinesiologists, academics, researchers and prominent businesspeople attending the competition either as judges or sponsors. Participants are encouraged to develop cases and then present and defend them. Most importantly, teams should have fun!
