Region 10 Fall Leadership Symposium

4 Weeks Away - seats are still available

Want to improve leadership at all levels of your school district? “I’m just...It’s a phrase we hear all the time. I’m just a teacher, I’m just an assistant principal, I’m just a tech director, I’m just a custodian….the list goes on and on and is always followed by reasons something CAN’T happen. Leadership is not a title, it’s an action...and it starts from within. Identifying leadership traits in yourself changes your mindset when thinking about leading those around you.

A highly effective campus is a result of administrators who clearly communicate the expectations staff members must meet, and who provide staff members the tools and guidance to meet those expectations. Effective employee documentation assists administrators in achieving these goals. This session will review the different types of teacher contracts, review the documentation process, address the importance of progressive discipline plans, cover documentation strategies, and work through common scenarios for participants to apply the documentation process.
