SLP Celebrates School Bus Driver and Aide Appreciation Day | |
Each school day, our Park Adam Transportation team is the first to greet our students in the morning and the last to wish them a good evening. Their dedication, patience and kindness help create a safe and welcoming environment from the moment students step onto the bus.
To celebrate School Bus Driver and Aide Appreciation Day, we want to introduce some of our fantastic drivers where they share their most memorable moments on the job.
From heartwarming connections to funny stories, their experiences highlight just how much they do for our students every day.

Intervention in Action: Dr. Robinson’s Work with Middle School Students
Dr. Constance Robinson, Director of Student Services, has been meeting with 6th, 7th and 8th grade students during lunch to support their academic success and personal growth – an effort that aligns with St. Louis Park Public Schools' mission to see, inspire, and empower each learner.
Through these conversations, students reflect on their progress, strengthen their practices of respect and honesty and restore harm when needed. By centering student voice and experience, Dr. Robinson is helping create a supportive, racially equitable learning environment where students can navigate real-world challenges and move forward with confidence.

Holocaust Survivor Assembly at St. Louis Park High School
Today, SLPHS students came together to hear the powerful story of Manny Gabler, a Holocaust survivor, during a special assembly in Park Connections Advisory. We are especially proud of student organizer Micah Schoenberger, whose dedication made this meaningful event possible.
This assembly was held in honor of International Holocaust Remembrance Day (January 27, 2025), a time to reflect, remember and ensure that history is never forgotten.
