A Message from Superintendent Osei
|
|
I appreciate the time and energy many of you have put into providing input on the attributes and characteristics we are looking for in our next Middle School principal. I also appreciate everyone who was planning on participating in the interview process starting next week. I have made the decision to suspend the selection process at this time and go with an interim principal for the 2022-23 school year. This decision was not made lightly. I took into consideration all of the input I received and the ability of the candidates who applied to effectively lead in a manner that is in alignment with our strategic direction.
Next school year, Jason Boll will serve as the Middle School Interim Principal. Jason is a knowledgeable and caring school leader with extensive experience at the Middle School. Jason has served as the assistant principal at the Middle School for 13 years. Prior to serving as assistant principal, he served as a dean of students and math teacher. During all of these experiences at the Middle School, he has demonstrated the ability to implement effective strategies to elevate student voice, engage stakeholders, and foster a supportive learning environment. Jason is excited to serve the Middle School community in the capacity of interim principal and continue the work to provide a safe and nurturing environment that energizes and enhances the spirit for our students, staff and families.
Jason will be starting as interim principal in July and is looking forward to transitioning into the role. Over the next couple of weeks, I will be assessing the needs of the Middle School and making a determination on who will serve as the interim assistant principal for the 2022-23 school year.
Thank you and please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
In community,
Astein
