Dear St. Martin Community,
What a blessing having school bullying survivor, activist and author of the seminal New York Times bestseller, Please Stop Laughing at Me Jodee Blanco in person to share her inspirational story, tools, and advice tailored to Catholic school families. The icing on the cake was having so many parents and older students in attendance! I received heart-warming feedback from several parents who reconnected with friends and met new families while sharing the delicious snacks provided by the PTG and the Li family.
Please join us Sunday at 9 a.m. to celebrate Mass together to kick-off Catholic Schools Week! Fourth grade is hosting a bake sale following Mass. Students who wear their uniforms to this Mass will be able to wear free dress on Monday. We have a full week of exciting activities ahead! Moms will be treated to muffins and dads to donuts at morning drop-off as our "thank you" for all you do to make our Catholic school so special. Please see the CSW flyer below.
Blessings,
Jennifer Miller, Principal

SeaPerch Begins
and Volunteers are Needed!
|
|
Not only are junior high parents involved with SeaPerch, there are opportunities for any parent with or without an engineering background to assist our students in preparing for the competition during after school hours. This is a great way for parents of K-5 students to be prepared for when your child will be in junior high!

A Call to Duty - Farewell to Two Families

We are sad to learn that two of our families have recently received military/professional orders to relocate. Please wish the Schmitt family: David and Aloise, Clare (gr. 2) Evelyn (K), moving to Colorado Springs and the Landinguin family: Ian and Ryan, Graham (gr. 5) and Sawyer (gr. 2), moving to New York, safe travels and best wishes. We are proud of their service to our nation. Both families will be deeply missed.
