SMA Prep Weekly
Middle School Campus
Dear Families,

As I meet people throughout our Sarasota and Manatee communities, it is clear that SMA Prep is growing as a leader in providing unique learning opportunities and a high quality education for families in our districts. This academic reputation, including our authorized IB Middle Years Programme, has grown over the past 4 years through the hard work of our talented teachers, staff, PTCC, students, and families. Each week as I walk through our campus, I find our cadets actively learning, asking good questions, and developing their skills as current and future leaders.

Thank you to Cadet Garet Pearson and his mom, Michelle, who helped SMA-MAJ Currie and me this week by sharing the powerful mission of our school with families at a district elementary school looking for the best education for their child. You can help too by letting your friends and family know about our upcoming enrollment information meetings so they can see SMA Prep for themselves. Open enrollment runs from October 1st through January 31st, so this is the time to take action for anyone interested by submitting an application for the upcoming school year.

As we prepare to celebrate this Veterans Day, I want to acknowledge the many SMA family members and friends who are serving and have served our great nation through their military service. Please accept my sincere gratitude for your sacrifices and commitment to protect the freedoms we hold so dearly. Thank you!

I look forward to seeing everyone at the parade on Sunday!

~ MAJ Becky Morris, Asst. Head of School
