Twenty-nine small business owners received a certificate of occupancy/written authorization to ‘Open for Business’ from the Department of Development Services Small Business Project Management (SBPM) Program in May 2023.
One hundred and thirty-three small business owners opened their doors in the time period January - May 2023.
"The depth of knowledge of all business use types and required training certifications our Project Managers have attained is a big asset to customers seeking to explore entrepreneurial business pursuits," shared Mandi Spina, Acting Director, Department of Development Services. "We welcome all levels of inquiry on how to navigate commercial real estate building permits in the County and invite customers to 'check in with our team of experts, before they begin!"
