Dear friends,

This summer, Paul is looking forward to attending Sledge Hockey Camp through our Children’s Recreation and Leisure programming. Life at home has looked a little different for Paul. In March, he learned about a pandemic called COVID-19 that swept over the globe changing the way he went to school, how his parents go to work, and how he can or cannot see friends and participate in sports. Paul is a Manitoba Possible services client who saw his in-person support turn to video conference support. Now, Manitoba is reopening and Paul is excited at the opportunity to see his friends at Manitoba Possible’s Sledge Hockey camp.

Manitoba Possible needs your support to keep programs like the Sledge Hockey summer camp running. The pandemic has led to the cancellation of our two largest fundraising events, leaving a fundraising gap of over $100,000.

How can you help? We’re asking you to consider a donation in support of Manitoba Possible and kids like Paul. You can make a one-time donation, set up a monthly gift, or do a fundraiser of your own (we can help with ideas if needed).

Manitoba Possible, formerly the Society for Manitobans with Disabilities, is the provincial affiliate of Easter Seals Canada. We believe in an inclusive and accessible society, and one of the ways we work towards that is by eliminating barriers to summer fun for children with disabilities. You can help Paul and the rest of the kids in our summer programs by donating today.  Donations can be made online (24 hours a day) by visiting  www.manitobapossible.ca  or by calling  204-975-3108  or  1-866-282-8041.

Thank you for considering a donation to help us give the kids a great summer. We hope you have a great summer too!

Sincerely,

Dana Erickson
