Dear St. Martin’s Families,
We appreciate your attention to Friday's COVID-related communication as we all prepare for Thanksgiving. As the situation remains fluid, we will continue to ensure there is a frequency of communication and response.
As a reminder, with the holiday upon us and the recent increase in COVID-19 infections in other states, we are strongly discouraging nonessential travel beyond Maryland. We are asking all families and staff to adhere to the guidelines released on November 10 which state anyone traveling to states with high COVID-19 test positivity rates to be tested upon return and to quarantine. We are also asking your family to test and quarantine should there be gatherings beyond the immediate family.
Lastly, on November 13, SMES received a letter from the AACO Health Department directed to all non-public schools requesting our school’s current status and any modification to our instructional approach. We are responding to the request by communicating our status and modifications being made to our in-person plan which were shared with you on Friday.
We are most grateful for your cooperation and communication.
Sincerely,
Jamey Hein
Head of School
