SMGA Members play in Special Events

Thanks to the support of Del Monte Foods, SMGA Members have been treated to two special golf experiences this spring. Eight SMGA Members participated in the Monday after the Master's event hosted by Hootie & the Blowfish in April. In June, three more SMGA Members took part in the Russel Wilson Celebrity Invitational in Cle Ellum, WA. We can't thank JD Fenessy and Del Monte enough for providing these once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to our veterans.

Zurich Classic

Four of our veterans were treated to a special weekend by Zurich Insurance in April. They attended the weekend rounds of the PGA Tour's Zurich Classic of New Orleans at the TPC of Louisiana and had the honor of tending the flag on Saturday. On Monday they played in a special event with Zurich executives on the tournament course, set up with the tournament's Sunday pins.

13th Annual SMGA Classic

Thanks to everyone who participated and contributed to the 13th annual SMGA Charity Classic at Manor CC on June 3. With your help, we were able to raise more money than last year. It costs roughly $1500 to put one veteran through our program. Click below to make a gift to support our efforts and help make a veteran as happy as the four guys in the picture to the left.

A Major Performance

Our founder, Jim Estes, has qualified for the first two senior major championships of the year. Jim participated in the Senior PGA Championship at Oak Hill in Rochester, NY in May and then in June participated in the US Senior Open at Warren Golf Course on the campus of Notre Dame University in South Bend, IN.

Warrior Golf Clinics starting!

Most of our Chapters run 2 or 3 Warrior Golf Clinic session per year. The summer/fall series have just started at many location and two more are starting soon:
