In May 2020, JNESO and SMGH signed an MOA allowing:
Vacation time not taken in 2020 due to staffing needs and any requested time not granted will be carried over and permitted into 2021. Any carry-over time greater than one-half (1/2) of accrued vacation hours currently allotted to be taken during the following year shall be taken no later than March 31, 2021. The parties agreed to extend the vacation time usage period to May 31, 2021.
Management requests employees submit their Denied Request for Time Off Forms with the (below) Request for Carry Over Form to your Directors by Monday, June 28th.
JNESO ADVISES YOU TO CHECK THE CURRENT VACATION HOURS IN YOUR TIME BANK TO ENSURE THERE ARE NO DISCREPANCIES. IF YOU HAVE BEEN DENIED A VACATION REQUEST DUE TO STAFFING AT ANY POINT DURING THE VACATION EXTENSION PERIOD, SUBMIT ALL VACATION DENIALS IN WRITING TO MANAGEMENT!
IF, AFTER SUBMITTING DENIALS TO MANAGEMENT, YOUR TIME IS NOT RESTORED IN YOUR JULY 30, 2021 PAYCHECK, PLEASE CONTACT A LOCAL OFFICER OR YOUR LABOR REP.
