CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS (UPDATE)

This week, your Local negotiating committee and JNESO reps met with management to submit initial contract proposals. We will continue to meet with management until we have an acceptable agreement (or final offer from management) on your Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Members will then be asked to vote as to whether the changes are acceptable to you.
Keep in mind, we enter negotiations with renewed focus and great motivation, knowing what you, the members have gone through over the last several months enduring this pandemic-including a lack of PPE and shift changes. The negotiating committee is committed to advance proposals that would ensure safety, and fair wages & benefits. We will periodically update you as to how negotiations are going and if we may need members to engage in collective action.
