Leaders Offer Perspective as Preparation for the Medical Education Journey to Come

The George Washington University (GW) School of Medicine and Health Sciences welcomed the MD Program Class of 2027 during the 25th Annual White Coat and Honor Code Ceremony at Lisner Auditorium on Aug. 5. Jeffrey Berger, MD, MBA, Dr. Seymour Alpert Chair in Anesthesiology, presented this year’s keynote address to the incoming class.

Strategic Plan and Website for the Academic Medical Enterprise

The George Washington University (GW) School of Medicine and Health Sciences and The GW Medical Faculty Associates launched a new STRATEGIC PLAN and updated MISSION AND VISION to guide the academic medical enterprise into the future. As discussed during recent Town Hall meetings, this Strategic Plan establishes 12 goals embedded across four thematic pillar areas: Education, Research, Clinical Care, and Population Health and Health Equity.
