A $1 million gift from GW parents Ulvi M. and Reykhan Kasimov seeks to advance development of a new technique that uses RNA transcript levels to identify biomarkers in the blood stream, which can help detect active infections, including COVID-19, in the body.

GW SMHS/MFA Establish Office of Clinical Research as a Go-To Resource for Human Research

The GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences and the GW Medical Faculty Associates launched a centralized Office of Clinical Research for faculty and staff involved in clinical research. The office will provide pre- and post-submission support, as well as guidance on finance, operations, and regulatory compliance.
