News from Mrs. Sims
The weeks of March 5th through March 16th are the Terra Nova testing weeks set aside by the Archdiocese. Students in grades 3 through 7 will take the test. The teachers and I appreciate the effort you will make to help ensure that the students are ready, willing, and able to test to the best of their ability. Here are some things that parents can do:
  • Students need a good night's sleep
  • They need to eat a healthy, protein filled breakfast
  • They need stress free mornings; keep things positive and unrushed
  • Arrive to school on time
  • Please schedule doctor appointments for the afternoon only
  • Students should attempt to answer all questions; there is no penalty for guessing
  • Reassure your child that this test is important but doesn't determine their worth or whether or not they will pass in a grade
  • Encourage your child to use their time wisely and listen carefully to directions
We will test each morning so that students are at their best. We will provide students with gum, mints, and stretch breaks to keep them focused. Please send in healthy snacks and water bottles. Let's do our best and stay Mustang proud!
God Bless You and Your Family,
Wendy Sims

Great job to our Kindergarten Mustangs!

We challenged our Kindergartners to a "Chore War" to help purchase items off the Amazon Wish List for the Ronald McDonald House. They worked hard and raised $110.00 in chore money. We were able to purchase many items off the Wish List. Great job Kindergarten Step by Step!
