Franciscan Kitchen Volunteers

On Tuesday, March 27th the following students will accompany Dawn McCubbin   to volunteer: Luke McCubbin , Kalista Buono, Jake Schweitzer, and Paige Wright.

Staff Appreciation Week! 
Our SMM Families and PTO are the best! We have had a wonderful week of being pampered and feed and LOVED! Thank you for the the warm coffee and muffins on Tuesday, the fabulous Mustang jersey,  the amazing luncheon catered by BJs on Thursday, and delicious breakfast today!  The generosity of our families in providing the amazing raffle prizes that we each received today was overwhelming! Our school community is the BEST! We are blessed!

Pet Supply Drive!
Wednesday, March 28 ONLY
The 6th graders are helping My Dog Eats First, a program which helps the homeless by providing pet food and supplies for their pets by collecting and distributing these items. 

All SMM students JK-8th who make a donation will be able to wear free dress on Wednesday, March 28. 
Donations should be brought to school only on the morning of Wednesday, March 28 and placed in the collection boxes at the school office. Please DO NOT bring the donated items prior to the collection day.
Suggested items include: dry or canned cat and dog food, dog treats, basic cat litter (not the scoop type), leashes, and collars. 
We collected 2,016 pairs of shoes this week!

Thank you for cleaning out your closets to benefit WaterStep! WaterStep is an organization that sells used shoes to help fund safe water projects all over the world.
The 4th grade was the  winning grade that gets a PJ day on Friday, April 13th! 
It's Athletics Board Nomination Time!

As a fundraiser to help fund their trip to Volleyball Nationals in Phoenix, Arizona, the Louisville Fury Volleyball teams are hosting the "First Annual Comedy Night" in the SMM gym on Friday, April 13th. For more information click here.
