Thanks to your tremendous support of the Mustang Mile, our students exceeded the $45,000 donation goal and have earned Free Dress Mondays through January 28, 2019.  Please follow these guidelines for free dress.

Parent Survey
Continuous Improvement

Deadline - October  31

SMM and the Archdiocese of Louisville are engaged in an continuous improvement process. Our SMM parents are currently asked to give feedback using The Catholic Identity: Program Effectiveness survey. This survey will help us measure the Catholic identity of our school and the archdiocese. Please complete the survey by  clicking here . The survey is anonymous, so please feel comfortable providing feedback. The survey window will be open until Wednesday, October 31. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Family Night

All Saints Day

This is a Holy Day of Obligation and evening Mass will be celebrated at 7:00 pm. Please remember that there will be no homework this evening and no tests on the following day. All extracurricular activities are suspended that evening after 6:00 pm including athletic practices and games.

Application materials  for new students beginning in the fall of 2019 will be available in early January. Our drop-in registration will be on

State Cross Country Championship

Vivian Ratterman (4R) came in 3rd place overall in the 4th grade and under division at the Kentucky State Cross Country Championship this past weekend.

New Afterschool 
Enrichment Classes

Don't forget that our Rosary Club is now up and running; it's a great opportunity for any child who enjoys making crafts and working with their hands.

Unfortunately the 3-on-3 soccer tournament has been cancelled due to the inclement weather and condition of the field. 

Donations to our Cake Booth are still welcome!
Please remember that a free dress pass will be issued to each SMM student for a cake booth donation. Only one pass per student. Baked goods can be dropped off at the gym during afternoon carpool or during the event.
Additionally, tents are no longer needed. Thanks to those who offered.

Used Book Drive
Week  of November 5

Please consider donating any used book in presentable condition to the Dream Express Bookmobile the week of November 5-9. The mission of this bookmobile is to provide needy children books for free. Bins will be placed outside the school office.

Please inform your child(ren)'s grandparents to arrive by 8:00 a.m. to the church for a full mass. Seating will be according to the child's last name. Volunteers will be available to help. Parish Fall Cleanup Day

It's time to get the yard gloves, rakes and blowers out! While we love our trees on our SMM campus, they sure bring LOTS of leaves, and your help is needed. Please join the SMM Grounds Committee for a day of fellowship and stewardship as we work in teams to do a cleanup. This makes for a great family service project. There are jobs for all skill levels. We are also looking for groups to captain different areas of the parish grounds (your child's sports team, Scouts, Step by Step, Small Group, Bible Study, etc). And, if you have a lawn care company or have access to large equipment, please contact Grounds Committee Chair Tim Griffin at 502-468-3681.
Vision Screening
Volunteers Needed
Thursday, November 15
The school office is in need of parent volunteers to assist with this year's Vision Screenings. Dr. Rod Rallo with Vision First will conduct the screenings of students in grades 2/4/6. The event will be held on Thursday, November 15 beginning at 8:00 a.m. in the library meeting room and ending at approximately 11:00 a.m. If you can assist with this opportunity, please contact Carman Wilcox in the school office or email  cwilcox@stmm.org. We appreciate your help!

We are proud to announce that five of our recent Class of 2018 SMM graduates were recently honored as Xavier Scholars with a reception at St. Xavier High School. Congratulations to Riley Bender, Nicholas Showalter, William Varga, Christopher Voor, and Isaac Wilson.

Additionally, four of our Class of 2018 graduates have been recognized as Steinhauser Scholars at Trinity High School. They are Matthew Chou, Matthew Fisher, Michael Massey, and Paul Springer.
