Volunteers Needed in the
School Library

Our school librarian, Mrs. Laura Wicke, is looking for 2 volunteers to help for a few hours in the library on a weekly basis. Specifically, help is needed in the afternoons from 12:00 - 2:30 pm and anytime on Fridays. Please know that any time you may be available is great! Duties include checking books in/out, shelving and labeling books. Please contact her at lwicke@stmm.org

Football equipment return will be held in the garage adjacent to the SMM football  field on Wednesday, November 8th from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. Please make

Grandparents Day
"The Wonder of Your Grandchild's Education"

Friday, November 10
Last names of children M-Z

Grandparents should arrive to be seated according to their grandchild's last name in the church. They need to arrive by 8:00 am to allow time to be seated. The students will be joining them  in the pews by start of Mass at 8:15 am. Upon entering the church, each grandparent will receive an itinerary for the morning.

After Mass, the grandchild(ren) will escort their grandparents through the school and classrooms to "Experience a Day in a Life of a Mustang". This is a new experience for all!  Grandparents will exit the building by 10:15 am.

We look forward to hosting our Mustang grandparents!
  • Please know, that having lunch with the grandchild(ren) will not available. Breakfast treats will not be part of the program this year.
  • If there is a conflict with your scheduled day, please contact your homeroom teacher directly. There is no need to contact the school or PTO.

SMM 6th Grade is proud to present Roald Dahl's "James and the Giant Peach, Jr."  This family friendly musical is based on the classic children's novel of the same name with incredible music by the composers who wrote "La La Land" and "Dear Evan Hanson"... over 90% of our 6th graders are participating! The homeroom in grades JK - 5 and 7 & 8 who have the highest percentage of students attending the musical at least one time will receive a pizza and dessert party!
