News from Mrs. Sims

"Catholic education is above all a question of communicating Christ, of helping to form Christ in the lives of others..."   Pope John Paul II

On Wednesday, seven of our wonderful staff members were honored at the Years of Service Luncheon given by the Archdiocese.  Educators are recognized at milestone years for their dedication to the ministry of working in area Catholic schools.  This is an opportunity for all of us to celebrate and recognize the incredible service our teachers provide.  Please join me in thanking the following staff members: Shelly Freeders, Lisa Priest, Amy Burch, Carolyn Gnau, Lisa Stiff, Barb Voet, and Dee Dee Walsh.  These dedicated and talented faculty members share the wonder and love of Christ with us each day!
May God Bless You and Your Family,

Another important aspect about building a just society and living lives of holiness amidst the challenges of modern society is Solidarity. We are one human family whatever our national, racial, ethnic, economic, and ideological differences. We are our brother's and sisters' keepers, wherever they may be. At the core of the virtue of solidarity is the pursuit of justice and peace. Pope Paul VI taught that "if you want peace, work for justice." Learn more on Solidarity by viewing this video.
