The SMM Athletics Ministry is hoping to add archery to our program but first we need to know  how many 4-8th graders are interested. If you are...please send an email ASAP to  Chris Schneidtmiller

We need parent volunteers to help with the program and coach, too.

News from Mrs. Sims
Today is Veterans' Day, a day dedicated to honoring the brave American veterans of all wars.  It is also the feast day of St. Martin of Tours, patron of soldiers. Today, we used the following prayer to recognize the importance of this day.  Please consider saying this prayer as a family as you look back on the American heroes who have fought for peace and justice.

Prayer For Veterans Living and Dead
O God,
by whose mercy the living and the dead find purpose and peace.
Look kindly on all Veterans who have given their time
and risked their lives in the service of their country.
May those who gave their lives find rest in you
and those still living experience peace in the promise of eternal life with you.
Grant that through the passion, death, and resurrection of your Son
they may all share in the joy of your heavenly kingdom
and rejoice in you with your saints forever.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen
May God Bless You and Your Family,
Wendy Sims
