News from Mrs. Sims

The students and teachers in grades 3 through 7 have been busy this week with our Terra Nova testing. They are working hard to stay positive and give their best effort. It can be stressful, but also exciting, to "show what you know" in this type of format. Please continue to build your children up and help them stay focused for the second week of testing.

We were blessed this week to celebrate Ash Wed. together as we begin the Lenten season. Pope Francis invites us to prepare during Lent with a renewed mind and heart. He reminds us about fasting, prayer, and almsgiving as the three practices of this season. Let us all fast from negativity, pray for peace, and share our gifts with others. Walk with Jesus during these 40 days. This season has the power to restore and transform us as individuals and as families.
Wishing you a blessed Lenten season,
Wendy Sims, Principal
