Parents, please join us in thanksgiving of our teachers (in conjunction with Staff Appreciation Week) at the All School Mass on Tuesday at 8:15 a.m. As always, you are welcome to sit with your children. 
SMM Swimming Mustangs!

The 2019 CSAA Swim Championships took place on Saturday, March 2 at the U of L Ralph Wright Natatorium. 
The St. Margaret Mary swim team captured a 5th place team finish. Our boys finished in 3rd place and the girls finished in 5th place. Every swimmer contributed to the team's success, and a few stood out finishing in the top 3 in their individual or relay events.  Great Job!

Cafeteria Server/Salad Maker

* We will be crowning a Prince and Queen of the Mom Prom. All boys in the 8th grade that pre-register for the Mom Prom will be put on a ballot. Every boy attending the dance will be able to vote once for the couple of their choice. The couple receiving the most votes will be Prince and Queen of the Mom Prom! Registration must be received by Thursday, March 21 to qualify.
Inflatable Volunteers Needed TONIGHT!

It's Fish Fry Time!
5:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Please note the change to the entertainment portion of the Fish Fry tonight. The Sport Inflatables will be tonight and the DJ will be on March 22. Volunteers to manage the inflatables TONIGHT are needed!
  • March 15 (Grades 3 & 6)  -  Sports Inflatables
  • March 22 (Grades 4 & 7)  DJ in PAC with Games 
All parents of school children are asked to volunteer on the date assigned to your child(ren)'s grade (noted in  green above). If you cannot assist that day, please sign up for an alternate day.

Fish Fry Cake Booth
Cake Booth donations are requested for each of the SMM Fish Fries. A free dress pass will be issued for each item donated, not to exceed the current number of your children at SMM. Please bring the baked goods to the gym during afternoon carpool, during the set-up, or during the fish fry.

Stress, Anxiety and Depression (SAD) 
in our Young People

Join us as two experts cover prevalent issues which are leading to a society of SAD children. (Children and teens who are suffering from Stress, Anxiety and Depression along with other mental health issues.) Hear ways to be supported and to support your children or their classmates.

Dr. Tony L. Sheppard will be speaking with parents of children of all ages from adolescence to high school age.This is a parent only meeting; if childcare is needed, please contact Tara Mattingly at

During this same time, Dr. Zach Thieneman will be leading discussions with teens from 7th grade through high school.

Pet Food Drive
Wednesday, March 27 ONLY
The 6th graders are helping My Dog Eats First, a program which helps the homeless by providing pet food and supplies for their pets by collecting and distributing these items. 

All SMM students JK-8th who make a donation will be able to wear free dress on Wednesday, March 27. 

Donations should be brought to school only on the morning of Wednesday, March 27 and placed in the collection boxes at the school office. Please DO NOT bring the donated items prior to the collection day.
Suggested items include: dry or canned cat and dog food, basic cat litter (not the scoop type), dog treats, leashes, and collars. They are most in need of dog and cat food. Thank you for your generosity!
