Our Fall Parent-Teacher-Student (PTS) conferences will be held on Thursday, October 1 from 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. These conferences provide an excellent opportunity for all of us to reflect on the school year to date and on how your child has adjusted to the expectation of his/her learning environment.

A form was e-mailed to you today detailing more specific information. Please click here if you need an additional form.  These forms are to be returned to your child's homeroom teacher on Monday, September 21 . We will assign conference times on Tuesday morning. News from Mrs. Sims
The excellence of St. Margaret Mary School can be measured in numerous ways. Our students and staff members achieve greatness each day. As disciples of Christ, they make positive strides in their friendships, their support of others, their kindnesses and their "can do" spirit.  Students are given an exemplary faith-filled education here. They are loved, supported and protected. They are given multiple opportunities to explore and share their gifts. Daily, our children thrive, achieve and succeed at SMM.
One tangible measure of academic excellence is of course test scores.  We use them to assess our school programs, track student growth and evaluate academic achievement.  The Terra Nova test is nationally normed, so it also ranks our students against others in the nation and can allow us to compare our students within the Archdiocese of Louisville.
The students in the Archdiocese of Louisville on average rank much higher than others in the nation who take this test.  We have strong academic programs, excellent teachers, and we use our resources wisely.  We can proudly say that students at St. Margaret Mary School rank even higher than the Archdiocese of Louisville as a whole.
The graphs below depict our results in comparison to the mandated grades of 3, 5 and 7 in the Spring of 2015. I have also included a graph that compares our graduating 8 th graders to their peers on the High School Placement Test. We are so proud of our students and our school!
May God Bless You and Your Family,
Wendy Sims
