JNESO continues active negotiations with SMMC management regarding incentive payments. It has come to our attention that management has been making claims that JNESO has rejected offers of incentive payments. Management’s original offer would exclude all technical employees in the JNESO unit and was drastically different from the one spoken about in earlier conversations.
JNESO countered with an offer that would guarantee that all members of the Local will be compensated for their hard work. At this time, SMMC management has not responded to our counter-proposal. We have reached out to SMMC’s attorneys regarding their lack of response to our counter offer. It is important for us to stand strong and stick together, management has all intentions of separating this unit prior to negotiations. We cannot let that happen!
