JNESO continues to address issues with SMMC management on your behalf:
The absence of shuttle service to employee parking (filed for arbitration).
Floating on both Day and Night Shift causing double or multiple bumps of staff (grievance moved to arbitration).
Unilateral changes to the requirements to take accrued sick leave (grievance moved to arbitration review).
Termination of a fellow union member.
Non Payment of Certification Pay for Technical Members.
Continuity of Medical Care.
Deferred Negotiation Items.
Non-Bargaining Unit Member doing bargaining unit work.
Unfair Labor Practices (ULPs):
Request for Information regarding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) not provided.
Implementation of Discriminatory Pandemic Pay without Bargaining.
Management Doing Bargaining Unit Work – Request for Information Denied (PICC/IR).
Not Bargaining in Good Faith (Deferred Negotiations Items)
Management Unilaterally Changed the Terms and Conditions and Refusal to allow to go through the grievance procedure.
OSHA continues to investigate Health & Safety concerns at SMMC and will potentially file additional citations.
