PANDEMIC PAY (UPDATE)
JNESO made a demand that management bargain over the discriminatory Pandemic Pay that the employer instituted on January 10, 2021. JNESO proposed a Pandemic Pay that would take all JNESO members who have or are treating COVID patients to receive an equal amount of pay. A response was due from management on February 18th. Management canceled the negotiations and sent us the letter below stating that they will not continue payments past February 14th.

THIS IS NOT NEGOTIATING IN GOOD FAITH!

So once again JNESO filed a ULP at the NLRB. We are still awaiting a decision on last year's complaint.
A grievance has also been filed because JNESO has found miscalculations of Pandemic Pay paid to members who should have received Pandemic Pay under management's offer.

If you do not believe you have received the correct amount or have not received Pandemic Pay at all and took care of COVID patients, contact your JNESO representatives immediately!

Also please be aware that we are awaiting dates on the 2 arbitration cases also filed on Pandemic Pay. The process is long but the outcome may be worth it.
