| | 2027 STEWARDSHIP - COMMITMENT SUNDAY! | | |
“Thus says the Lord, ‘I am about to do a new thing; now it springs forth; do you not perceive it?'”
Each Sunday this month, our SMPC members are sharing a brief Moment for Mission, reminding us of the impact SMPC has on our lives, our community and our world. In last Sunday’s Moment for Mission, Lee Martin shared how his family made a commitment to tithe and then experienced God’s cheerful abundance every step of the way, even when it felt a little scary. Listen to or read his impactful message below.
A letter from Sandy and our 2027 budget allocation were sent to you earlier this month, and last week, you should have received a letter from the Stewardship Committee and a pledge card in the mail. This Sunday is Commitment Sunday, when we will bring our pledge cards forward in an act of collective commitment to God's work through SMPC. If you cannot be in church this Sunday, you can submit your pledge online here or mail your card to the church. Additionally, pledge cards will be available in the pews. We hope you will prayerfully consider SMPC’s importance in your life as you reflect on all the things God is doing here!
