Its getting closer to Dec 2nd our first Lunch & Learn virtual event, this will be the last event hosted by the MBEIC Committee in 2021. Please register today to join me and the MBEIC Committee. Bring your Lunch & Learn as we discuss NMSDC’s eMarketplace.
Bring questions with you:
- How will this benefit the growth of my company?
- How will Corporate Members find us?
- Do Tier One have access to locate Certified MBE’s so they to can purchase from Certified MBE’s?
- Will there be any additional cost for services being offered?
These are just examples of the questions you can submit. There will always be opportunity to learn more so ask question leaving with a goal and a mission on growing your business for 2022. Let us hear your needs and thoughts on how we can learn from MBE2MBE business challenges. As we move into 2022 MBEIC Committee will plan sessions based on educational needs for our 1st quarter Lunch & Learn event in 2022.
One thing that is important to me and my business as I am preparing for this event and for 2022 is, "What changes or small adjustments will I need to do for a return on my investment as a Certified MBE with SMSDC?"
Reviewing all of Treco Services memberships and certifications with different organizations & councils is what makes me contract ready. Today everything has a requirement when bidding RFP’s. Lunch & Learn is going to open up more opportunities for NMSDC eMarketplace to assist Corporate Member to locate MBEs . We need to build relationships even if it’s participating in a virtual meeting, how often do we hear this?
My years certified as an MBE and participating by attending every event I could and supporting the SMSDC Council has helped build a return on my investment…
As Your SMSDC MBEIC Chair and Committee we are here to help guide you and help in growing your business by having Lunch & Learn virtual events. These upcoming Lunch & Learn workshops will provide understanding how forming Mentor/Protégé, Joint Ventures , Teaming Agreements can assist you with opportunities to gain past performance. This can even create opportunities to work with MBE2MBE.
Please visit the website for SMSDC & NMSDC so you can see the value your certification has to offer!
Sincerely your MBEIC Chair,
Debbie Treviño
