October marks the 10th anniversary of National Farm to School Month, first designated by Congress in 2010. USDA Extends SFSP/SSO Waivers Through SY 2020-21
On October 9th, U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue announced the extension of all Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) and Seamless Summer Option (SSO) waivers, allowing schools to offer meals to all children at no charge through the end of the 2020-2021 school year. Read More
