Attention Industry Reps: Time Is Running Out!
There are only a few spots left for SNA’s Fall Industry Boot Camp sessions! We have developed two versions of Level II—one with a Food & Beverage Concentration and one with an Equipment and Technology Concentration. These sessions will also include interactive activities, on-site school visits and exclusive director panel and student panel with the opportunity to ask your own questions! Whether you chose Level I, Level II Food & Beverage or Level II Equipment & Technology it will be a great training opportunity for you and your colleagues. Federal Register: SNA Comments on Information Collections
SNA submitted comments in response to the Federal Register comment request published September 25th including three data collection items for OMB Review. The Association remains concerned about the burden that data collection presents to school nutrition operators and asks that the process is streamlined, and the burden reduced. Partners Come Together to Fund Equipment Grants
The School Nutrition Foundation (SNF), SNA’s charitable sister organization, is making history in 2020 with not one, not two, but three equipment grant opportunities (Winston Foodservice Equipment Grant, the new Vulcan/Hobart Equipment Grant and the new Collection Grant) for SNA members. Members can apply for the “SNF Equipment Grants” through one common online application until January 31, 2020, or until the first 75 eligible applications have been submitted. Learn More
