As temperatures rise, we've begun receiving reports of snake sightings. This is typical for the warmer months, when snakes become more active and seek out cool, shaded areas. These areas include around pool equipment, barbecue grills, and under dense bushes.

Please remain alert when enjoying outdoor spaces such as patios, courtyards or walking around the property. We strongly advise against leaving children or pets unattended outdoors.

To help deter snakes, avoid leaving food outside, as it can attract rodents, which in turn attract snakes, their natural predators.

If you encounter a snake, do not attempt to handle or remove it. Instead, please contact Animal Control at 760-343-3644 for safe and professional assistance.
