Face masks still required at programs
The town of Lexington is designated as medium risk and have ended their indoor mask mandate. Out of an abundance of caution, we will continue to wear masks in our chorus and adult visual arts classes.

While we are making strides in the pandemic public health emergency, we feel that the continued usage of masks is important to maintain our in-person programming. Please contact Heidi O'Mara, SNAP Executive Director, if you have any questions.

SNAP Artist Profile: Rachel M.

Rachel M. has been attending the SNAP Special Artists visual arts program for many years.  Rachel's work shows an excellent sense of balance.  She is quick to experiment with strong colors that often bring surprising and pleasing results.  Rachel came to our class with a love of art and a willingness to try various painting techniques.  She listens carefully to directions, but also sees ways to make a project reflect her own artistic sensibility.

Rachel's favorite medium to work with are watercolors. Creating art is a way for Rachel to relieve stress and she really enjoys meeting new people in class.  Rachel loves spending time with her two best friends who also attend art class.

When Rachels is not in art class, she loves walking her dog Maggie and enjoying time in Maine with her family.  Rachel is also very involved with Special Olympics. She recently won a gold medal for swimming.  We are so proud of Rachel and happy she shares her talents at SNAP Special Artists!
