December 2020
Greetings Ministry Leaders,

As you continue to lead during this unique Christmas season, I want to encourage you with a quote from Eugene Peterson as he reflects on John chapter 1; "the word became flesh and moved into the neighborhood." This is what Christmas is all about. God through the person of Jesus, comes near. That is an unhindered message during this pandemic season.

Below are some Network Updates as we wrap up the year that we want to draw to your attention:

ALL NETWORK ZOOM MEETING:
This Thursday at 11AM, I will be hosting our final All Network Zoom of 2020. We will be sharing some year-end highlights, here from a few pastors of their Christmas service planning, update you on our ongoing Racial justice and equity initiatives, and more on our transition efforts to the new bylaws. Please mark your calendars and plan to join us.

COVID-19 CHURCH RESOURCES:
As you continue to lead your churches through the continual effects of this pandemic, we have created a few documents to help guide you. Please read and download our "Ministering through COVID" doc that has been updated with current guidance on continuing to leading well throughout the pandemic. Additionally, you can access the following documents below to help you navigate COVID positive folks within your church staff and congregation.

  3. What to do if a congregant tests positive

RIGHT NOW MEDIA: SERMONS & WORSHIP BUCKET
Our team is developing a resource bucket of local sermons and worship from our SNE credential holders for you to access should you ever be in need. If there are further rollbacks, should you or a member of your staff test positive for COVID and be unable to preach/lead worship, or if you need to take some time off to rest, we hope this "bucket" will be a blessing to you. We will continue to add to this bucket throughout the year.
To access downloadable resources in Right Now Media:
  • Start by logging in to your Right Now Media account provided by the network office. (If prompted to choose an organization, select SNE Ministry Network)
