Historic Property Reinvestment Program
The New Jersey Economic Development Authority's Historic Property Reinvestment Program is a $50 million competitive tax credit program to leverage the federal historic tax credit program to support rehabilitation projects of identified historic properties.
Award size is based on the cost of rehabilitation (eligible costs) and would be awarded as follows:
- 50 percent of the cost of rehabilitation up to a maximum of $8 million, for rehabilitation projects NOT located within a qualified incentive tract or a government-restricted municipality
- 60 percent of the cost of rehabilitation up to a maximum of $12 million, for rehabilitation projects located within a qualified incentive tract or a government-restricted municipality
- 45 percent of the cost of rehabilitation up to a maximum of $50 million for rehabilitation projects that include a transformative property

Woman and Minorities in Construction Trades Grant Program
The New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (NJDOL) has announced $2 million in available grant funding for the Woman and Minorities in Construction Trades Program. This program seeks to eliminate economic barriers commonly associated with an individual’s inability to invest in skills training and work readiness and connect women and/or minority populations to quality career and training opportunities in the building and construction industry.
Funding from this grant announcement shall be used to support training in the construction and building trades industry, including clean energy and lead abatement occupations. Occupations within the construction and building trades industry including craft, administrative, support, or operational occupations are acceptable.
The application deadline for this funding opportunity is November 8th, 2024.

UPSKILL: NJ Incumbent Worker Training Grant Program
The purpose of the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development's UPSKILL: NJ Incumbent Worker Training Grant program is to provide New Jersey-based employers up to 50% cost reimbursement assistance to FOCUS on frontline incumbent worker training to meet current and future occupational skill requirements.
The Upskill grant program is open to all New Jersey businesses and business sectors, but the primary focus will be on the strategic business sectors (Advanced Manufacturing, Clean Energy, Film & Digital Media, Finance & Professional Services, Food & Beverage, Life Sciences, Offshore Wind, Technology, Transportation & Logistics) as identified by the Governor’s Economic Development Plan.
The total amount of available funding is $10,000,000 from Workforce Development Partnership Funding: Traditional-Customized Training in fiscal year 2025 (FY25).
Single employers and Consortiums may qualify for a maximum of $500,000. Applicants are required to notify NJDOL of the intent to apply for the grant program. For each application round, there is a firm due date and time for this notification which can be viewed in the grant program details.

Transportation Accessibility & Mobility Program (TAMP)
The Transportation Accessibility and Mobility Program (TAMP) is a state-funded $2 million pilot program established to address accessibility, mobility, and transportation insecurity in five South Jersey counties (Atlantic, Camden, Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem).
This program seeks innovative and impactful projects that will address transportation gaps in the region and help meet the needs of individuals experiencing transportation insecurity. Qualified projects may include but are not limited to the development of accessible transportation, expansion of routes, implementation of ridesharing programs and the deployment of smart transportation technologies.
Applications are due on November 15th, 2024.

Activation, Revitalization, and Transformation (A.R.T.) Program - Phase II
A.R.T. – Phase II is a competitive grant program from the New Jersey Economic Development Authority that will disburse $15,000,000 in ARP SLFRF funding to address the impact of COVID-19 in 31 selected municipalities throughout the state. The program supports the creation of public space activation initiatives, such as place making projects, public art installations, and arts-based projects. Projects must be located in one of these 31 eligible municipalities and executed within 1.5 miles of an active passenger rail or light rail station operating in those municipalities.
The NJEDA will provide grant awards up to $500,000 for eligible projects. Applications will be Scored by the NJEDA Scoring Committee on a Scale of 0 – 100 points, with award recommendations limited to applications that meet or exceed the minimum requirement of 65 points. The application window will close on November 25, 2024 at 5:00 PM.

Pre-Apprenticeship in Career Education (PACE)
Grant Program
The New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (NJDOL) has announced $2 million in available grant funding under the FY2025 Pre-Apprenticeship in Career Education (PACE)- Round 1 grant program.
The PACE program provides funding to provide training to prepare participants for placement into placement in registered apprenticeship programs, employment or other quality outcomes with partner employers and provide quality support services to ensure success for placement into registered apprenticeship and employment.
Technical Assistance workshops will take place virtually on November 14th and December 5th to assist applicants. The application deadline for this funding opportunity is December 13th, 2024.

Offshore Wind Workforce Readiness program
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)’s Wind Energy Technologies Office (WETO) has announced the $1.9 million Offshore Wind Workforce Readiness program through a Partnership Intermediary Agreement with ConnectWerx. This $1.9 million opportunity will make awards of up to $250,000 to successful applicants offering offshore wind education and training programs that offer apprenticeship readiness programs, registered apprenticeship programs, or maritime/mariner programs, with particular attention to programs that support underserved communities.
DOE seeks to fund programs that are in alignment with local and regional organizations, and that have relationships with employers within the U.S. offshore wind supply chain. Domestically deployed clean energy supply chain and technologies will make American energy affordable and reliable.
Applications are due on Friday, December 13th, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. To learn more, applicants may attend office hours on Wednesday, November 20th, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.

Real Estate Gap Financing Grant Program
The Real Estate Gap Financing Grant Program is a $10 million pilot program from the New Jersey Economic Development Authority established to provide grants for real estate development projects located in distressed, eligible municipalities that require gap financing and that address the negative economic impacts of the COVID19 pandemic.
Applicants must agree to a 5-year deed restriction ensuring no change in the proposed project use for 5 years.
The NJEDA will provide minimum grant awards of $500,000 for eligible projects., with a maximum grant request $5,000,000. The application window will close on January 8th at 5:00 pm.

New Jersey Manufacturing Voucher Program Phase 3
The New Jersey Manufacturing Voucher Program is a $10 million pilot program from the New Jersey Economic Development Authority established to assist New Jersey manufacturers with accessing the manufacturing equipment they need to become more efficient, productive, and profitable.
The pilot program will provide grants for a portion of eligible equipment costs, up to a maximum award amount of $250,000 per manufacturer.
The program is intended for manufacturers within targeted industries that will purchase equipment that integrates advanced or innovative technologies, processes, and materials to improve the manufacturing of products. The program also offers bonuses focused on certified woman-owned, minority-owned, and veteran-owned businesses (WMVB), businesses located in opportunity zone eligible census tracts, businesses with less than 50 Full Time Equivalent employees (FTE), as well as bonuses for companies that have a collective bargaining agreement in place.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis and remain open until all funds are committed. An informational webinar on Phase 3 will be held November 12th, 2024 at 2:00 PM.
