Hello Sierra Nevada Region Members, Friends and Sponsors!
So excited for our upcoming Soroptimist Development Retreat in August! Just got word that we will have a special guest from SIA with us all weekend! SIA’s Iesha D. Brown, Chief Impact and Engagement Officer. I am really looking forward to another great round of workshops to help the clubs in our region. From Presidents, Secretary,
Treasurer training, but we will also have workshops on How to host a Fall District Meeting, Dream Programs and so much more.
| | |
I have already heard that our leadership team is busy making sure that our workshops are fun and engaging, tying into our “Super Star Dreamers” Comic Book theme. Early registration will end on July 24th so hurry now and register for this fun event.
I also wanted to mention that with the new club year, we are still looking for updates on club officers - so please be sure to send your Roster Change forms into not only SIA, but also to your District Director and our Region Treasurer. We would love to have our updates by the time SDR is here.
A special thank you goes out to Gov Elect Kathy and her team as they are working to provide our Region with a fantastic event for sure. From food to the presentations at our workshops and so much more. If you or someone in your club would like to help out by being a sponsor, I encourage you to reach out to Gov Elect Kathy. Oh and did I mention that the Marketplace will be back!!
I am looking forward to seeing you all in August!

With gratitude and love
