With the support of ETSI-BC and the Provincial Government, our South Okanagan Chamber Team is ready to start our business outreach and community support initiative for the South Okanagan Region. We are thankful for the extra resources to be able to add to our team and to ramp up what we currently do as a chamber and to have greater reach and impact.

We are happy to share that Troy Lucas and Denise Blashko will be taking the lead on this initiative and will start making connections this week. We know your time is valuable so we will be reaching out to you and your team in a variety of ways over the next couple of months to find out where we can be of service.

Troy Lucas is the owner of TPL Consulting and has over 20 years experience in supporting businesses and owners in achieving their goals. He has significant experience in the restaurant and bar industry and has worked with several businesses in our South Okanagan region. Denise Blashko will be a familiar name / face to our members as she has been part of our chamber support team for years. As a business coach and trainer with over 15 years experience working with entrepreneurs and teams who want to #dobetter, she is ready to support our communities in turning the corner and creating the next chapter in our local collective stories. Business Recovery Grant is 11:59pm PDT this Friday, July 2, 2021.

Apply today to join over 10,000 businesses who have
already been awarded this grant.
We are happy to hear the announcement that was made by the Honourable Joyce Murray on Friday, June 25 regarding the $5.5 million in funding for BC as part of a national Shop Local initiative.

We know it has been a challenging time for many businesses and individuals and our chamber network looks forward to being part of this campaign to help promote our communities and get back on track as we reopen over the coming months.

Our BC Chamber of Commerce network has released our Resource Guide for Small Business Resiliency. In partnership with the provincial government and funded by the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Training, the Resource Guide for Small Business Resiliency has critical information collected in focus groups and from consultations with different sectors and industries from all economic regions across British Columbia including the Okanagan.
