Meet our new artists:
Thomas A. Tankersley, K. Henderson, and Brian Vikander
One of the best parts of our job is discovering artists whose work will thrill our clientele. This year, we are pleased to introduce you to Thomas A. Tankersley, K. Henderson, and Brian Vikander, three artists you will want to get to know.

Tom Tankersley's work is hand formed in steel. The feathers of an eagle are cut out individually and then hand pounded to create the look of real feathers.  The steel leather of a stage coach is heated and pounded until it really looks like leather, people have to touch it before they realize it is steel.

Each sculpture is approached individually making his work unique. Extensive research and meditation go into each piece he makes.

Born and raised in Oklahoma, K. Henderson now calls rural New Mexico home. Both locations have provided her with inspiration for her paintings. She is known for her detailed oil painting of contemporary still lifes as well as Western figures.

She has attained national recognition with her work, has attracted a growing audience of collectors and has received numerous awards including over 100 Best of Show and First place awards in national juried art shows.

Brian Vikander is a professional photographer, travel writer and explorer. He is one of a diminishing breed of individuals who continue to seek out our globe's most unusual corners. For the past 23 years, he has been recording the face of the ever- changing, developing world.

As a photojournalist, he has completed assignments to over 100 countries, on six continents. The chronicle of his photographic efforts have been seen in virtually every domestic and international publication that deals with the world of exotic travel.

Jerry McKenzie, the visionary behind Christin Wolf jewelry, passed away August 6th after a long battle with cancer. Born in Clayton, New Mexico, Jerry grew up with a fondness and respect for the Native American cultures in the state that was with him his entire life.

For over 30 years, Jerry created hand-crafted jewelry from his store in Albuquerque's Old Town. His son, Craig, carries on in his father's footsteps, keeping the tradition of creating fine Southwestern jewelry under the name of Christin Wolf.
Please join us for these exciting art events!
